Secretary Treasurer And Business Agent
Ron
Rabideau
Ron Rabideau is currently the Secretary Treasurer and
Business Agent for Teamsters Local 597. Ron
was appointed June 1, 1987 as Business Agent for
the local union. In 1995 Mr. Rabideau was appointed to
the Joint Council 10 Executive Board. In January 1995
Ron was appointed as a Union Trustee on the NNEBT
board. Ron was formally employed at Roadway
Express Inc. from November 1978 - May 1987. He
served as Shop Steward at that location for many years
prior to his appointment as business agent. He has been
appointed by the governor of Vermont for five successive
terms on the HRIC Board. Ron has had years of
experience in working with the members of Local 597, and
continues to believe in fighting for every employee to
maintain a positive work environment.
